The Challenge: Factory Industrial

No, it’s not the industrial revolution, but it is that time again for “The Challenge for Builders!” And this furnishings challenge theme was all about the factory industrial scheme. Everything from pipes, to reclaimed wood, metal, and art galore! Such a perfect collaboration for a loft, or a studio apartment! Eclectic, unique, and full of character and soul. Which is totally what the designers for this challenge have brought to us this session!

So here’s a glimpse of what you can grab for yourself from each Challenge Designer location. Remember, if you hit the main-stores of each builder and grab the item, or items during the first week of release, you’ll get it at a special introductory price. So don’t wait too long!

There is just so much to see at the Home & Garden Expo! With over 100 builders and designers, I’ve been trying to get a little of everything I can fit into my previews, but wow, there is just so much!

One definite thing though, I have to give you a little peek at this lovely log house called “The Sierra” from Mavan Homes. The builder was kind enough to let me have a copy to review {Thankies!<3}, and it’s just gorgeous! Forget tiny cabins, or small hunting lodges. Nope, don’t even go there!  You have to have “The Sierra”. Built of lovely pristine blonde wood, and stonework throughout, this log home is both elegant and rustic. Perfect for country, forest, lake, or even residential builds! The LI is 332, and is roughly 51 m x 50 m. Of course, this is just a little peek at “The Sierra”. I’ll be furnishing and photographing the interior tomorrow, so make sure to check back for the interior shots! But if you want to see this beautiful home in person and can’t wait, it’s on display at the Home & Garden Expo on Sim 2 right now!

It’s just a few days into the Home & Garden Expo event for Relay for Life {may 24- june 2nd}, and there are just so many things to see! If you haven’t been to the expo yet, definitely make time to see it. There are over 100 different builders and designers who have created some really amazing displays, not to mention, that all the different sim landscaping areas and decor is just beautiful! Also don’t forget that the Home & Garden Expo is a charitable event, with many of your purchases (using the RFL venders) going to help support the fight against cancer.
